HOME
The Order of St Thomas of Acre is an international ecumenical society
concerned with fostering of the values of traditional Christian Chivalry in
today’s world.
The Order of St. Thomas of Acre was reformed on 8th February 2005. It claims
no direct links with the original Crusader Order or any revival. Rather, the
name is chosen to honour those original knights who served in the Holy Land
in that little known but uniquely English Hospitaller and Military Order.
The current
Order
is dedicated
not only
to St.
Thomas
of Canterbury
but
also St. Thomas the
Apostle.

A competing organisation has been formed, in the UK and Cyprus, using our
name and insignia—having copied our artwork, flag, and regalia. The
competing organization has created a Facebook page and has its own website
under construction.
We do not recognize the validity of this
organisation, nor do we or will we have anything to do with them.
Serious
questions can be raised about the motivations of those persons behind these
actions.
We are the original reconstituted Order of St. Thomas of Acre worldwide, and
will defend our independence from any other organisation that attempts to
use our good name, our logos, or our membership for their own purposes. Our
international ecumenical chivalric society was reconstituted in 2005, with
the Headquarters in Australia and branches in several other countries. Our
cross/badge, armorial bearings, and regalia are all copyright-protected in
Australia.
If you are contacted by any person representing an imposter organisation,
you are encouraged to contact the Grand Master immediately so he and the
Grand Council can respond accordingly.
